Welcome to the magical and whimsical world of the Lincoln Parish Library Children’s Department! The Children’s Department, a world of imagination and discovery, is located directly across from the Check Out Desk.

Our dedicated and creative Children’s staff aims to help children and families to develop a love of reading and learning through a robust collection and an ever changing roster of events and classes.

  • 9:30 AM - Family Story Adventures - Preschool age.
  • 4:00 PM - Rookie Readers Club - K-3 grade.
  • 6:00 PM - Monday Movie Night - All ages.

Tuesday

  • 4:00 PM - BeTwixt & BeTween - Ages 9-12 or grades 4-6.
  • 6:00 PM - Teddy Bear Tales - All ages.

Wednesday

  • 9:30 AM - Wacky Wiggle Wednesday - Preschool age.
  • 4:00 PM - Raising Readers - Grades 3-6.

Thursday

  • 9:30 PM - Seeds & Sprouts Storytime - Birth to 24 months.
  • 4:00 PM - Family Story Crafternoon - School age. First and third Thursday of each month only.
