Teen Department


Teens are in a class all their own! Follow the TEEN lights to our Teen Department, where you will find computers and reading and study areas just for you!  This is your space, so come hang out.


Here are a few of the awesome things you’ll find in the Teen department:


Teen Reads:

  • Discover all the great new books
  • Browse our graphic novel collection comics, manga, and more
  • Explore nonfiction and biographies to help out with your homework or any burning questions you might have.
  • Unsure what to read next?  We can help!  Try our book recommendation service or dig through our hand-selected Teen Treasures found at the Teen Desk or online on Pinterest or GoodReads


Homework Help:


Teens-Only Programs:

  • Monthly Game Night
  • Crafting Programs
  • Cooking Programs
  • Annual Zombie Prom
  • Teen Summer Reading
  • After school casual time with games, puzzles, books, friends.


Teen Advisory Board (TAB):

  • Get involved at fun, monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of each month (August through May at 4pm)
  • Share your opinion on teen events and library materials
  • Become involved with your library and community
  • Gain valuable volunteer experience, suitable for college applications and job resumes
