The Lincoln Parish Library will host Amanda Roberts, a renowned musician and winner of the 2017 National Hammer Dulcimer Championship.
The Hammered Dulcimer is a percussion-stringed instrument with strings stretched over a trapezoidal resonant soundboard and is played by being struck with handheld hammers. This is unique instrument is quite the treat to hear in person!
Roberts will be accompanied by percussionist Lady Chops, Elizabeth Vidos, who has performed Off-Broadway with STOMP for 10 years.
Together, they bring live music to LPL originating from the countries of Ireland, Scotland and Wales in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day.
Families are invited to enjoy this fun celebration at the Lincoln Parish Library Events Center on March 19 at 2 p.m
