Event Details

Complete the challenge and get your name in the drawing for a Dog Lovers Package, read 5 fiction or nonfiction books featuring dogs during the month of July.

Official Rules:
Any adult can participate, but to be entered in the prize drawing participants must:1. Be a member of the Lincoln Parish Library Readers Club. (If not a member, you can join the club when you begin the challenge.)
2. Read 5 fiction or nonfiction books featuring wild animals between Thursday, July , & Sunday August 2, 2021.
3. Present his/her completed log to a staff member at one of the Information Kiosks by 8:00PM on Monday, August 2, 2021. (Scans or photos emailed to [email protected] will also be accepted.)Don’t forget to add the books to your yearly reading goal!

The drawing for the PRIZE PACKAGE will be done live on the Library’s Facebook page the following week. You do not have to watch the live event to win. The winner will also be notified by phone. Previous reading challenge winners (within the past 6 months), LPL Staff, and their immediate family members are ineligible for the prize drawing. With monthly reading challenges, LPL aims to expand your reading horizons by featuring parts of the collection you may not have previously considered, and we encourage you to visit this month’s themed display to explore available titles. Complete all three Reading Challenges released in June, July, and August AND complete 2 Excursion Challenges during the Library’s Digital Luau Week (8/16-8/21) to be entered for a chance to win one of TEN amazing prizes in a Grand Prize Drawing held in September.
